Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you source your flowers?

Louise has a number of trusted suppliers that she has worked with for many years. Her wholesalers source flowers from the UK, Holland and beyond. Seasonal blooms are sourced from a local flower farmer just 4 miles from Louise’s studio for those extra wispy tendrils, scented herbs and delicate grasses.

How far in advance should I book you?

Your wedding flowers are likely to form a key part of your décor, so it is recommended getting in touch as soon as you’ve booked your venue and set your date. Dates get booked between 12-18 months in advance, so it’s good to start chatting ideas sooner rather than later.

Will it be just you working on our flowers or do you have a team?

Louise has a trusted team of freelancers that work on the larger weddings. Depending on the size of your wedding there may be 2 or 3 florists working on your flowers, more if needed.

Where and when can we meet for consultations?

Initial consultations are held in the studio or by video call by appointment. Weekend appointments are very limited due to having weddings to set up. Weekday evenings are always a great option.

Do you hire out any props or other decor?

The studio holds a whole range of props and décor that has been collected over the years from vases, bottles and urns to apple crates, arches and candles galore it’s another reason to come to the studio for your consultation so you can see it all.

Will you come to visit our venue?

This depends on the scope and design of your arrangements. We can discuss this in more detail during your consultation. A venue visit will incur additional charges.

Do you work floral foam-free?

Louise is very passionate about creating floral foam free arrangements, it is a continuous journey of learning. Many of the large arrangements are now foam free and Louise is currently working on the smaller table arrangement mechanics and is more than happy to guide you in selecting beautiful environmentally friendly designs.

Can we repurpose our ceremony flowers?

Yes! This is so beneficial to creating the most amazing impact for your big day, also Louise understands that flowers are expensive and may be a large portion of your wedding budget so it’s only right that they are used for the whole day. Louise will work with you and your budget and advise where best to spend it. To make repurposing your florals alot easier the team can be on hand to move these for you.
