Designing wedding florals takes time, but once the dress is chosen and the bridesmaid dresses are picked, everything starts falling into place. That’s exactly how Olivia and Joe’s wedding floral journey unfolded—starting with a classic vision and evolving into something beautifully personal.

Initially, Olivia & Joe envisioned an ivory and blush pink colour palette. But one day, Olivia sent me an image of bud vases bursting with vibrant colours and said, “I LOVE THIS.” That moment changed everything. Suddenly, we weren’t just creating floral arrangements; we were bringing Olivia and Joe’s personality into every bloom.

We shifted from soft neutrals to a more natural, seasonal look, embracing warm summer tones of orange, pink, and purple. The transformation was stunning, perfectly complementing a wedding where every detail was thoughtfully curated—from hand-drawn invitations to signature his & hers cocktails and a perfectly rehearsed first dance.

Floral Design to Match the Magic

The bridesmaids wore elegant patterned silk dresses, so we toned their bouquets down, sticking to a classic ivory and pink palette with fresh green foliage. It allowed their dresses to shine while still tying in with Olivia’s colorful vision.

Olivia and Joe’s love story began in their school’s chapel choir, making it the perfect place to say “I do.” With its grand domed ceiling and breathtaking stained-glass windows, the chapel called for equally impressive floral designs. To match the scale of the space, we created two towering urn arrangements flanking the altar and a third statement piece to welcome guests at the entrance.

After a joyful confetti moment in the school grounds, guests made their way to the family home, where we had transformed the marquee into a floral dream. The vast space needed impact, so we installed large floral hoops that echoed the table arrangements. The tables themselves featured a stunning mix of flower-filled rose bowls and bud vases, with colour-coordinated dinner candles adding warmth and romance.
