Laura & Dan exchanged vows in front of their family and friends on a beautiful summers day in August. Dan’s parent’s garden was the perfect setting for the occasion. The ceremony took place in-front of the folly at the bottom of the garden, where we created two oversized floral column arrangements with large branches of oak and pittosporum, plenty of hydrangeas and large headed playa blanca roses, finished with a meadow effect of delphiniums at the base. The start of the aisle was framed with large meadow arrangements.

Laura’s father walked her down the aisle, where Ruth the celebrant conducted a light hearted and personal ceremony.

The drink reception was served on the lawn by the beautiful house with background music playing by the live band.

The reception was held in a beautiful sail cloth marquee. The tables were laid in long banqueting style through one end of the marquee. These were decorated with gorgeous compote bowls full of scented blooms, such as roses and sweet peas. The blush was accented with taper dinner candles and napkins.

Once the ceremony was over and all the guests were enjoying a cold glass of fizz, we moved the floral columns to frame the entrance of the marquee. The meadows were also moved and placed at the end of each of the trestle tables.
